That would prevent someone accidentally leaving their log-ins and username visible if they leave the computer accidentally open....and save some potential issues for those fading...
I sympathize with faders but what you call "accidentally" I call "carelessly." My suggestions:
- Log in using an incognito/private window.
- "I am not on a public computer." <---leave this unchecked.
- Never let your browser remember the password for this site.
- Get into the habit of quitting your browser completely when you leave your computer.
- Consider using one browser only for this site, and another browser for the rest of your web surfing, and again, completely quit it when you're done.
Financial institutions log you out automatically because it cuts down on fraud/theft claims which saves them money. They don't care about your security.
